McDonald Douglas F-4D

Hasagawa 1:48 Scale

	This is the Hasagawa F-4D in 1:48 scale. Needless to say it will be a large kit when finished. I have picked up decals for RAF Bentwaters in England. The F-4 was stationed there in '76 and was swapped out for A-10's starting in '77. I also have picked up several aftermarket parts for it. This will be quite a learning experience on this kit as this will be a first on many of the aftermarket stuff.
	My first step was to scribe all the panel lines in as the kit has raised panel lines on it.
	At this point I have finished scribing the panel lines. An experience to say the least. But done now. I will get better with the technique in the future.
	One of the after market items I picked up was resin wheel wells. So I have begun to remove the existing wheel wells. I have removed one of then and am just about done fine tuning the edges to take the wheel well. Two more to go.
